New customer ?

“When you try a new supplier, there is always an element of uncertainty. Will the meatballs be from a tin, will the salami be a supermarket basic product.

No fear here. The Tapas in a box that we received was truly amazing. We were entertaining close friends and all of us were overwhelmed at the variety, taste and quality of every one of the products. I had contingency plans should the food be poor and didn’t need to use any.

We are real foodies, and I have cooked tapas on many many occasions. But perhaps not as often now.

We all thought the Albondigas, though traditional were too big. And second, well there isn’t one. We just hope that the variety will increase.”

[We agree that our Albóndigas can sometimes be a little on the hefty side (although many customers like them that way !) – we’re going to see if we can come up with a tasty resolution for all. On variety – introducing new dishes is a big target for us this year.]

As good as London ?

“I love Tapas and your food was as good as any tapas I have had in London and much better than some. It was all very light and fresh and we absolutely loved the chicken in sherry!”

Tapas for 8 ?

“The whole experience was fantastic : my tapas evening was for eight people, two of whom are very big eaters, I had decided to add 2 additional dishes prior to opening the boxes, however, I needn’t have bothered, there was ample food and I followed your advice on a crispy light salad, plenty of crusty bread, a few additional dips and bingo we had a feast fit for a King, to complement the evening we made a large Sangria punch, we eventually said good night at around 4am. I would most definitely recommend your service to my friends and intend to have another tapas evening in the not too distant future. I was also delighted that when I called with a question, there was always someone on the other end of the phone and the advice was of great assistance to enable the evening to succeed.”

Tapas for 10 ?

“Just had your party box last night, excellent. Delivered on time and well packed. Good range of food that all our friends thought was delicious. Plenty for 10. Only minor comment is that the bravas need to be cooked without the film for 15 minutes to avoid being too soggy. “We collected our boxes last Friday and decided not to unpack anything the next day but to show it off to our friends from London. They took over – quite literally – with gasps – as they unpacked – at how superbly everything was presented. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time putting it all out – heating it – nibbling at the cold selection – then finally consuming everything else! We quite literally were left with just a few almonds! Our get-togethers are always enjoyable, and this really was an occasion we will all talk about for ages to come. Thank you so very much.”
